Diablo 4 players are complaining about the lack of variety with respect to dungeon bosses in the game. The community has pointed out that while there are more than 120 dungeons in Diablo 4, many of them have similar bosses.
Dungeons are a part of Diablo 4's core activities. There are different kinds of dungeons for Diablo 4 players to tackle as they explore Sanctuary, though some fans are clearly not happy with the boss variety.

In a post on the Diablo 4 subreddit, user JamboreeStevens mentioned how the game needs more "unique bosses" since there are so many dungeons to play through. They also suggested introducing more enemy types to reduce the repetitiveness of the dungeons, but admitted that isn't as significant as having different bosses in Diablo 4. Several community members agreed with the point and discussed the most common dungeon bosses in Diablo 4 that players encounter repeatedly, out of which Tomb Lord, Blood Bishop, and Mahjoob were the most common names players mentioned.
Since there are over 120 dungeons, it might be a little difficult for Blizzard to have a unique boss for every single dungeon. However, some members of the community feel that the minimal variety in bosses is quite frustrating as the same boss could appear in more than 5 dungeons, which can make things monotonous at times.
Season 4 of Diablo 4 is almost here, and it is bringing a horde of changes and additions along with it. For instance, developers confirmed that gems in Diablo 4 will now be categorized as materials, so players can have more inventory space. Blizzard has also promised more inventory space in the future as it's one of the biggest complaints players have about the game.
Despite some big changes arriving soon, there are several other issues players have with the game that Blizzard is yet to address. One of the prominent ones is the itemization problem in Diablo 4, where the community believes that the loot in the game isn't rewarding enough at higher levels. Players are also not happy with the gold economy in the game and have labeled it as punishing, which will hopefully be addressed after Season of the Malignant launches.
One Diablo 4 player has discovered the in-game location of where the title's announcement trailer took place, sharing images with fellow fans to compare it to the trailer footage. Though it has been a long time since Blizzard revealed the cinematic, fans were likely pleased to see the scenario actually happen in one of the in-game locations in Diablo 4.
Though most of the action-RPG's player base has already completed the story campaign of Diablo 4, many are likely still completing side content to gain a little advantage for the start of Season 4. Several features like the city waypoints and access to mounts will transfer during the Season of the Malignant, but players are also likely scrambling to find all the Altars of Lilith and discover every inch of Sanctuary's map to get extra renown for the first season. In going through all the locations, it is not surprising for fans to discover the actual location of Lilith's summoning from the game's announcement cinematic.

On Reddit, user cheeseslurpy shared some images of the Diablo 4 location from the game's announcement trailer released during BlizzCon 2019. The photos showcased what the locations in the trailer footage looked like within the game, from the perspective of the player. Fans will likely be glad to know that they can revisit these areas in Sanctuary, and actually go through an interesting Diablo 4 side quest line to witness how Lilith's summoning came about as well as the bloody aftermath of the whole situation.
Replies on the Reddit thread seemed to echo the original poster's sentiment about how interesting this particular Diablo 4 side quest was, especially since it called back to one of the biggest reveals for the game. Several mentioned that this was their favorite side quest in the whole game, noting that players will not realize that it was going to lead into the location of Lilith's summoning later on. Some also thought the Barbarian had been gender-swapped in the game, but later realized that the female features of the class in the trailer were not as distinct as they were in the game.
Many within the Diablo 4 community likely think that it is interesting to see Blizzard incorporate these intriguing quest lines into the game. Not only do they call back to previous storylines, they also add more flavor and depth to side content. Hopefully when Diablo 4's Season of the Malignant arrives, more of these kinds of side quests will be added into the action-RPG.
